Several weeks ago, I was going through my library of podcasts when one titled, The Three Words That Will Change Your Life caught my eye.

Wait…what...only three words…could it be that easy?

With the infamous words of Dr. Phil “this is going to be a changing day in your life” ringing in my ears, I popped in my ear buds and turned up the volume.

So, what were the three magical words?  Instead of saying “I have to” change it to “I get to”.

BOOM!!!   MIC DROP!!! These words hit me like a ton of bricks and could not have been any timelier.  Just the following week I was complaining about how I was so tired of having to empty the dishwasher, do the laundry, go grocery shopping…and now this!

Life Lesson #626 – The only thing standing between you and your happiness could simply be a different perspective. 

So, the next time you are packing your kid’s lunch or washing the dog or yes emptying the dishwasher, be thankful that “you get to”.
